Provincial (cottage industry) version of the coveted silver trade brooches made by Canadian silversmiths of the period. Woodlands fur trade C.1750.  Brass, about 1 ¼” in width. The iconic crowned heart form with the cross pin intact. Textured from burial and a small break to the lower right side.
